Thieves’ Market Audiovisual Requirements
The Thieves’ Market format is highly interactive and requires the following audiovisual equipment:
Equipment Required for Either Option Below:
1.Lavaliere microphone, either cordless or with about 15 feet of cord (to allow mobility off of the podium)
2.Laser pointer
3.Dedicated additional audio system input with separate volume control and phono male plug (to plug into iPhone or computer headphone jack)
Option A: Two Computer Systems
1.Primary computer (desktop or laptop) with monitor on podium for speaker to view presentation (note that laptop screen will suffice), running Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 or greater. I will bring a jumpstick containing my presentation, and I will have my own laptop with me for use as a backup device.

b.Large projection screen for audience to view slides
2.Secondary computer (desktop or laptop) to run the Audience Response System
a.ARS installed and operational on this computer
b.Video Projector connected to secondary computer
c.Smaller projection screen for audience to view slides
Option B: One Computer System
1.Single computer (desktop or laptop) with monitor on podium for speaker to view presentation (note that laptop screen will suffice), running Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 or greater. I will bring a jumpstick containing my presentation, and I will have my own laptop with me for use as a backup device.

i.I am familiar with the following installed Audience Response Systems, and have a version installed on my laptop:
1.iClicker
2.SNAP
3.Turning Point (no Mac version available yet)
ii.For other systems, I would like the opportunity to use the system in advance, either the night before, or the morning of, my presentation
iii.I prefer to install the system on my own back-up laptop as a failsafe mechanism before the presentation, and am happy to erase it afterwards
